Not Just a Paperback, It's Alive
As the digital age engulfs us everyday, the question will still remain. What will be the future of those paperback memories we lay on our shelves?
Michael Jackson cascades across the stage singing his greatest hit “Billy Jean.” He begins singing the chorus and you are so close; you can feel his body heat as he's smoothly moonwalking toward the crowd, and the closer he comes to the edge of the stage, the closer you are to touching the tip of his platinum white glove.
Now, imagine gaining this same experience from your desk chair in front of your laptop screen on YouTube
Printed books provide this same nostalgic feeling and just like a YouTube video could never replace a live Michael Jackson concert, according to some, an eBook can not replace rushing to turn the page of a paperback to reach the climax of a story.
