As the need for technology increases, so does the need for those who work in the technical field.  Over the past three years, Atlanta has become one of the top emerging tech hubs in the U.S., adding more than 8,000 technology jobs from 2010 to 2013, a 9 percent increase.

New research from CareerBuilder and Economic Modeling Specialists Intl (EMSI) demonstartes the multiplier effect of technology jobs, meaning they lead to more high-wage jobs in other occupations and industries. The analysis uses EMSI’s extensive labor market database, which pulls from over 90 national and state employment resources and includes detailed information on employees and self-employed workers.
