Alumni and Community Leaders Make First Gen Students' Dreams Come True

“MAKE SOME MIAMI!!!” The energetic greeting usually heard booming throughout the American Airlines Arena, pulsing with excitement from Miami Heat fans, was heard from the infamous Dj Irie at the DreamMakers Breakfast. The alumni, First Gen students, and community leaders could immediately feel that it would not be an ordinary fundraising event. The President’s Council, along with Wells Fargo and Cooperate and Foundation Relations, held the DreamMakers breakfast in order to continue to support the dreams of First Generation students by raising funds for the First Gen Scholarship. The DreamMakers breakfast was held at the historic Biltmore hotel on the morning of Sept. 23.
