Free us from GRAVITY

In Lecrae’s sixth studio album “Gravity” released in September of last year, he presents the two dimensions of gravity. The gravity that can hold us down and the gravity that can keep us grounded. On his album’s title track, “Gravity” featuring J.R., he speaks to his listeners about being released from the sin that has them bound. He tests their faith by asking them to let go of this sin so they can spend eternity with our God, Jesus Christ. When I heard the final track “Lucky Ones” I assumed he was contradicting himself. How could gravity bind us but also keep us grounded? The gravity he spoke of in his final track was the gravity that kept Christ on earth to save our lives.
